Traditionally the goal of Yoga is union with the absolute self, Samadhi. The path leading to this union can be challenging as life can get in the way. One of the ways to make this journey easier is to practice Asana, which is the physical aspect of Yoga. Practicing Asana allows you to bring your attention inward thus calming the mind shedding light onto the true self. This creates mental clarity, stress control and general well being not to mention improved flexibility, strength and fitness.There are many different way to practice Yoga, some more challenging than others. When choosing to commit to a practice it is important to explore the many different options available. Consider if you would like to practice privately in a small group or as part of a class. You may like the attention in a private session or you may benefit from the sense of community, habitual nature and connectedness of a Yoga Class.
